This is an exquisite collection of hand-embroidered table linen. The original price of HK$1300 - in the 1960s - attests to the quality of the linen and the beauty of the cutwork embroidery of these pieces. Motifs in the set include flowers, bats (a symbol of good fortune), lattice, and looped brides, all hand-stitched on stunning medium weight 100% linen placemats, napkins, and table runner. These elegant pieces will work well for a dinner party, wedding table, holiday buffet or even a dresser top. Goth Halloween bats, anyone? Collectors of fine linen will appreciate the intricate needlework evident on every piece.

Condition: Excellent, some pieces are Mint. It appears that only the napkins and one placemat was ever used in this set. The runner and remaining placemats are pristine. There are small (forgivable) marks noted on some napkins. See the photos for details.
