Here it is - the transferware set you've been looking for. Four pieces of flawless Copeland "Spode's Camilla" in blue, circa 1898-1920s. The plates are very deep - almost an inch! This pattern has been in existence since 1833, yet it has survived every iteration of the company first known as Spode - the creators of transferware. In fact, when Wm. Copeland purchased the Spode pottery, he kept the Spode name for marketing purposes so that people would know it was the same beautiful tableware made famous by the original. Eight place settings available at time of listing.
Each place setting includes the following:
10-1/4 inch dinner plate
7-1/5 inch salad/dessert plate
cup, 3-3/4 x 2 inches
saucer, 5-7/8 inches
Condition: Excellent. No chips, cracks, or crazing.
Material: earthenware
