Cataract-Sharp Glass Company (eventually known as Sharp, and Rock Sharp) was a cutting house. They did not manufacture glassware. Sharp purchased glass blanks from companies like Heisey and Libbey, then cut designs into the glass. These tumblers feature both clear and gray-cut motifs in the Art Nouveau style, cut into optic-mold glasses. Provenance places their manufacture date in the 1920s (possibly earlier).
There are eight beautiful footed goblets - seven of which are pristine. The eighth goblet shows a nick just below the rim (not on the rim). It has been polished smooth, but it's still visible if you know where to look. Forgivable, in light of the rarity and beauty of these antique glasses.
