The word "celadon" has several meanings: a pale green color, the glaze used to make that color, and the pottery itself. Wedgwood's "Celadon" dinnerware is all three. Very different from their jasperware (Queensware), Celadon as a pattern is sleek, epitomizing Mid-century Modern design. On offer here is a collection of plates, cups, saucers, and serveware in this engaging style from Wedgwood of Etruria and Barlaston, circa 1946 to 1969.
The pieces are all in excellent vintage condition. I have culled the set I acquired to remove any chipped or crazed pieces. The remaining pieces may show minimal wear, commensurate with use and age. Each piece is signed. Please see the photos and feel free to message with any questions. Thanks for visiting Redux Vintage Boutique.
