"Amberina" is the name given to the technique of heating red glass unevenly so that the color gradually changes. Fenton, of course, is a legendary name in glassmaking. This pretty little plate features a basketweave pattern and "lacy" edge. Basketweave is one of the rarer patterns for Fenton. There is a small foot on the bottom and the plate is slightly concave, so it holds candies or other small items nicely. It is in very good condition.
No cracks or repairs; however, there is a nick in the trim. The plate measures 7.25 inches across. Please see the photos and feel free to message with any questions. Thank you for visiting Redux Vintage Boutique.
